Virtually Ready, Inc. is owned and operated by Lisa Duhamel, web entrepreneur. Now based in Tampa, FL, she began providing virtual services to businesses over 10 years ago, when she was a new mother and military spouse, based in Texas. She began by providing support to her fellow military families by offering volunteer services to maintain the local military family website. The experience she gained provided her the opportunity to offer her virtual skills to clients around the country from her home office via the internet. Her experience and knowledge of the internet grew quite naturally, which excelled her into the realm of social media management, advertising, marketing and online promotions.
Over the past few years, Virtually Ready has evolved into a full-service Professional Web Presence Solutions boutique that puts Lisa’s web expertise directly to work for others, placing the business firmly within its new media niche market. The business is now incorporated and offers a unique “Social Web Fusion(SM)” solution to their clients, which includes dynamic custom website design, social profile design and ongoing professional web presence management for business.
Lisa is married to Joseph Duhamel, aka: “JoeDu“, owner of Avalon Design Unlimited, Inc. and an experienced Art Director / Graphic Designer by trade. The couple often joins forces on their projects to create a streamlined experience for their clients when the need arises. They have also worked together to help the community by providing sponsorships and support to non-profit charities, including Lyrics For Life and special music-oriented supporting events Rock By The Sea and Operation: Swandive. Having been an avid music lover all her life, Lisa has played a very active role in online music-oriented communities that has included large scale annual events such as The Rock Boat, hosted by platinum recording artists, Sister Hazel. She has won grand prize awards for her online promotion efforts within the music industry and has been the “welcome aboard” party hostess on The Rock Boat after their first voyage in 2001. A few years ago, she was invited to lay the foundation for a Sister Hazel fan based non-profit support organization called NUTS United – Neighbors United Through Song; its members are affectionately known as “Hazelnuts”.
Lisa loves sports as well (especially baseball) and can also be found volunteering some of her valuable time and providing sponsorships to support her favorite local sports teams.
